This is a brilliant book, in the sense that I struggled to put it down and that it made worlds shift in my head.

I really enjoyed this. So much so that I put down The History of Mr Polly by HG Wells to read it (anyway that book was making me cry on the bus). I don't read enough books that really capture the sheer awkwardness of interpersonal relationships, and I felt this did, very well.
